Why is it so important to have people posting all the time?

It's now Summertime and we have cook-outs, gardening, lawn mowing, car repairs ....
Lots of things to eat up our time ...

It's a simple fact of life that message board activity falls off in the summer
and picks up in the fall - winter - spring ...

Bud Brewster is bemoaning the same thing ... no one is answering his trivia
questions now ... and no one is showing up for chat ... after having
record chat turnouts while we were still under bad weather.

I hosted a popular Babylon 5 message board for 3 years following the end
of the series and I experienced the same surges and slow downs each year.
(That board is still in existence and is now hosted in Europe)

If you close this board ... PLEASE REOPEN it in the fall ... I'll be here and I'm
sure many others will be anxiously waiting also.

I understand Randy, but I'm not seeing a cycle, just a continuious loss of posters.

If it's a cycle, it's a mighty long one. LOL
